the TOOTHLESS wonder & Miss Maddie.

We had a visitor last night...from the Toothfairy. We actually had another visit from that same Toothfairy earlier this week too. I guess it is the beginning of the awkward stage! I am really going to miss this toothless grin.

He got his top tooth pulled 2 years ago, so I have really gotten to love his smile with one front tooth...and as you can see from the picture, his permanent tooth is about to break through.

I heard Maddie singing away in her bedroom this morning...so I just had to peak in on her. She had her Mother Goose CD blaring and she was was reading herself the words to the songs.

I thought for sure she would hide when she saw me come in with the camera, but much to my surprise..she put on her sunglasses..and contiuned on with business. (don't you love her choice of clothing and shoes today...we still have a few hours before church..so she can wear what she wants until then! I pick my battles;p)

HOPE & BELIEVE is a blog I enjoy peaking at often. They have a weekly challenge this week to turn a photo into black and white...so I thought I would join in on the fun this time.

I took this one the other day of this sweet 3 week old...look at all that hair!!!

I went out today to try to get some pics of my kiddos for Christmas cards...why do I have to bribe my kids so bad to get them to take a picture...I really don't know why I do this to myself??? I did manage to get some though...this one was a fav!

Happy Birthday to ME! Ok...so it's not my Birthday...YET! But I thought I would drop a few Subtle hints for my DH and possibly my family, and maybe my friends can help remind my DH that he should get me this:



Super Duper Cute camera bag/purse by TracyJoy...I love these because you can pick the fabric for the flap, then when you get bored you can just buy another flap...and if you know me at all, you know I sort of have a purse fetish, (which I inherited from my MOM!) so you know I will get bored...and along with that, I will probably need one of these to go with the bag:

Ok..so to sum it up I would like the Joey Bag in the Chocolate Lollipop fabric with the matching camera strap. Thanks DEAR...in advance.

SIGH of RELIEF.

Super Saturday is DONE! A GINORMOUS (is that spelled right?) Thank You to all those who helped make it happen so well! Lindsey, Carolyn, Francie (Carolyn's sis & Lindsey's mother-in-law) Mrs. Morty, & Scrappy! Oh, and one more person...Lindsey's husband Aaron, who slaved away in the garage for hours routing and cutting and drilling holes in the wood! If it wasn't for all the dedicated people that worked so hard this wouldn't of gone as well as it did! Thanks again...and can't wait for the the next one...haha what next one?!

We also did Family Home Evening Boards, FAMILY blocks, a Square magnet board, & glass magnets. Lindsey joked about starting a Super Saturday consulting business...you go for it Lindsey!!!

Trick or Treat.
I didn't think it would be such an ordeal to get this little fairy ready. So, to hopefully get her a bit more excited I let her in my make-up...it kind of made me feel like one of those crazy stage Mom's dressing their little girls up to look like a teenager.

...but Hey but what ever works with this child of mine. She didn't want the beads on...or the cute pink shirt...or the tights...or the tutu...

...so we compromised, I let her push her baby in the stroller...of course that only lasted about four houses and she caught on to the whole Trick or Treat thing...so guess who was pushing the stroller? Yep...Mom. Good thing we passed by our house so I could drop it off!


...and then there is my boy, he knows the routine and was 2 houses ahead of us most of the time, and of course I didn't carry any money with me to bribe him for a picture, so this is the only one I was fast enough to get.

It is amazing to me how quickly Maddie's little face healed, just a week ago she looked like this...

And today she looks like this...

Just neosporin every night before bed, and during the day when I remembered. Now I won't get weird looks when I'm out in public!

Just a couple shots of Dale fitting his hat on Taylor. He was packing to head up to Wisconsin again. His Dad passed away earlier this week. We were sad to hear about it, but we knew it was coming, he has been sick for awhile now. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. I really wished we all could of gone up the funeral, but I kind of have a lot going this weekend myself...Super Saturday! Need I say more? (I'm the Enrichment Leader in our ward)

I love this kid...even though he really makes me crazy most of the time! I'm hoping it is a stage that will pass. He really is a good boy, he just knows how to push his Mommy's buttons.

Bestest in the Westest.

I can't remember exactly when Shelby started this little phrase "bestest in the westest" maybe it was when I moved back to Utah or maybe it was North Carolina? The fact of the matter is, it is "our" saying...she is my bestest friend in the westest! I am so happy she finally made it out here to the midwest to visit us.

As soon as they got off the airplane we reminded Maddie & Ella they were best friends...they immediately grabbed eachothers hand and started walking and talking like 2 little 3 years would do...it was so sweet, and I'm so stupid I didn't bring my camera...what was I thinking?

I decided there were "no rules" at first...and let them jump off the bed onto all the pillows...it was fun until someone got hurt (Maddie) just a bump though!

Lunch at my favorite little cafe (Two Olives...if you haven't tried it you locals...you must!) Maddie was being difficult and wouldn't take a picture, but Ellla sure did!

Girls night out...dinner and a movie.. "Secret Life of Bees" (highly recommend it!)

You can't come to OKC and not go to "POPS" We just love this place! This time they had hay bales set up as a maze for the kids to play...it was awesome! (cause we didn't have to go to the pumpkin patch...again)

Last night together for awhile...breaking the rules again! Thankfully nobody got hurt! So now my Maddie has a "bestest friend in the westest" too! Thanks Shelby and Ella for a fanastic time!

We still have had a great time with Shelby and Ella! I will post more of our fun later, but until then...we are so sad they are leaving in the morning :(

Inked!!! Bedroom Revealed.

I left the door open to my craft closet, and Maddie helped herself to my ink pads...I guess she thought it was make-up?!

Little stinker! I have to say though, she has never gotten into my things before, so it was cute...this time!


...and here is my bedroom, as done as it is going to be for awhile...Dale won't be to happy with me if I spend anymore money.

I am pretty happy with the outcome.

I never have been completely happy with my bedroom, until now.

I really love the color!
